Additional School Programs

After School Performing Arts Program (ASPAP).

This program is designed to offer instrumental and general music lessons to students as a supplement to the school program.

At present students can learn to play the keyboard, flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, violin, drums or recorder.

Students learn in groups of 2, 3 or 4 with others of a similar standard. The cost of the lesson is dependent on the number in the group. This varies from $11.20-$15.30 per lesson. Fee relief is available for some students. Application for fee relief is made to the Assistant Principal. Lessons last for 30 minutes.

Circus and Drama

The circus and drama classes are available on Wednesdays. The cost for this group is $9.50. Please note that this a popular class with limited positions available. If there are no vacancies names can be placed on a waiting list. circus

Camping program

The school has a camping program for students in years 3 -6.

Out of School Hours Program (OOSHP)

School Council operates a before school program from 7.30-8.45 and an after school program from 3.30-6.00 on normal school days. The program also operates on curriculum days.

After School $13.50 Permanent
$14.50 Casual

Cancellation fees apply if the school is not given 1 weeks notice. The full fee will be incurred.

Some families are eligible for fee relief. Applications for assistance are made through Centrelink.

A holiday program is run using our facilities but operated by Moreland City Council.

Swimming Program

Each year all students participate in a 10 day intensive swimming program as part of the school’s physical education program. The program includes water safety, the development of swimming skills and fitness training.

Students travel by bus to the Maribyrnong Swim Center (near Highpoint Shopping Center) where qualified staff, teach groups with an average of 12 students. Details of costs, location, travel arrangements etc are provided before the program commences.
