Facilities and Resources

Situated on 2.6 hectares, B.S.W.P.S. has spacious attractive grounds catering for both active and passive play. Features include shady native gardens, a native grasses development, a courtyard, a large sports oval, grassed and asphalt play areas, a tennis court and junior and senior adventure playgrounds.

The original 1920’s style red brick building and the more recent grey brick junior school have carpeted classrooms linked by telephones. Each P-2 classroom has its own adjacent toilet.

Additional facilities include a modern resource complex with a fully computerised library, a large gymnasium with change rooms and a well equipped art room.

The school is convenient to public transport and is located in a quiet residential area opposite a playing field, a kindergarten and a playground.

Brunswick Special Developmental School (SDS) Baseroom.

Brunswick SDS is a school for students with severe disabilities. They have baserooms at our school with students, teachers, teachers’ aide and various visiting specialists. While they run their own program, some students are integrated into our classrooms for appropriate activities.
